Listening Hearts Songbook

This book contains 52 specially chosen songs that relate to discerning God's voice through a community of faith. Selected songs are typically integrated into the various Listening Hearts Ministries workshops.

The Listening Hearts Songbook is organized by four themes:

  • Invoking God's Presence and Guidance,
  • Offering and Opening Ourselves to God,
  • Pondering the Mystery of God,
  • Trusting God's Wisdom and Goodness.

Stylistically, the songs offer a rich variety of musical expressions. All touch our spirits, inviting us to be more in tune with our inner voices. The songs will inspire with their contemplative possibilities.

Each thematic section opens with a full-page original drawing. A number of the songs are accompanied by inspirational pen-and-ink interpretations of lyrics. Other songs are accompanied by meditative excerpts from Listening Hearts.
